Large, furnished double room in Honor Oak Park

Welcoming and spacious house within short walking distance of Honor Oak and Crofton Park stations.

Room available is on the ground floor, with french windows leading onto the garden. Bedroom is of a large size, with a double bed and lots of storage. Available 1 May 2017.

We all share a big kitchen, conservatory (living room space) and bathroom. Outside we have decking, seating, firepit and a barbecue.

Current housemates are all pretty independent but we do like a good old-fashioned hang out too.

We're looking for someone to join in the gang on a permanent basis who is considerate of others privacy and willing to pitch in with cleaning & other tasks.

Bills come in about £50-£60 per month (council tax, broadband, electric, cat food, toilet roll and cleaning stuff etc).

We have a friendly house cat which we share responsibility for, though she's fairly low maintenance.

The area is really well connected - trains from Honor Oak Park to London Bridge take 10 mins via National Rail. London Overground trains run from HOP to Highbury & Islington via Dalston. Trains from Crofton Park (5-10 min walk) to Blackfriars via Peckham take 15 mins. There are also buses (and night buses) to the city centre as well as Brixton, Peckham, Bermondsey, Lewisham, Deptford and New Cross on our doorstep. Street parking is available.

There are lots of nice parks locally like One Tree Hill, Greenwich and Dulwich Park. Popular restaurants and takeaways like Mama Dough, Babur and Jerk Garden are nearby. The Horniman Museum and gardens is a short walk away. And night buses, if you like a drink and a dance.
