Large top-floor double room is available in a well-kept, friendly home in the very centre of Greenwich. The room has brand new carpets, two original sash windows, and overlooks the Old Royal Naval College. If you don't have your own furniture the room can come furnished with a bed, a chest of drawers, bedside cabinets, bookshelf and a large comfy chair.

Our house is a large Grade II listed Victorian (c. 1840) terrace with plenty of charm and character. There are four bedrooms spread over three floors along with a main bathroom and an additional separate WC. We have a very comfortable front living room that's ideal for chilling out in and we spend many evenings together. The kitchen is decent sized and modern with everything you'd expect including a dishwasher. The gem of the house is our beautiful roof terrace -€” perfect sun trap in the warm weather but with a fire to keep warm in the evenings.

We are a very friendly, relaxed household of professionals in mid-20s- early-30s age range. We enjoy spending time together to cook, head regularly to the pub (of which there are plenty on our doorstep!) or just chilling out watching TV or having a chat, but we're also quite comfortable having our own space too.

Location wise - €” we'€™re opposite the Old Royal Naval College and neighbour an excellent bakery and, of course, there'€™s the market backing onto us, the park just further up our street and Greenwich pier at the other end. In terms of transport, eight bus routes stop directly opposite, Cutty Sark DLR station is a minute'€™s walk away and Greenwich train station is less than 10 minutes'€™ walk.

Bills average about £95/mth each (tax £42/mth, utilities £24/mth, cleaner £20/mth, broadband £4/mth, water £74/yr, TV licence £36/yr).
