The room:
This bedroom is a beautiful, south-facing space on the ground floor and has been a real sanctuary for the current tenant. It has wooden floors, three large windows and a feature fireplace. It gets a great amount of sunlight all year round (perfect for plants!) and looks out onto a street lined with trees and greenery.
The room comes with a large storage cabinet, solid wood double bed, bedside table, mirror above the fireplace, double wardrobe and a five-drawer chest of drawers.
Extra furniture can be requested from the landlord.
The house
Our home is a beautiful Victorian house with high ceilings on a quiet residential road. It’s a six-bedroom house with rooms across three floors, so it never feels crowded.
We have two bathrooms and an extra toilet, so you'll only have to share with two others which means no queues in the morning! We have a tumble dryer and washing machine.
We also have a beautiful garden that we use plenty in the warmer months – perfect for someone interested in growing their own veg!
There’s no lounge, but we socialise in the big, plant-filled kitchen or garden.
We also have a weekly cleaner who covers the communal areas (this is included in the bills).
Housemates
You will be living with 5 other charming individuals:
• Agate (30) Artist: Photographer, dancer and illustrator. Local bakery worker, with a love for nature
• George (36) Painter, Singer-songwriter, supporting artist in film and TV, keen on cooking and cocktails.
• Mattia (32) an Italian interior designer who loves Spanish reality TV
• Hannah (28) Animator and Designer
• Lydia (31) immersive event producer and queer icon
The area
We’re on the highly desirable Harringay ladder (N4), three minutes away from the bustling Green Lanes with 24/7 shops, cafes, fantastic restaurants and one of the best pubs in London.
The area is safe and has excellent transport links (less than 25 mins into central London)
— 3 minutes walk to Harringay station (Zone 3. Trains into Highbury & Islington, Moorgate, Kings Cross)
— 10 minutes walk to Manor House (Piccadilly Line)
— 15-minute walk to Finsbury Park (Victoria & Piccadilly Line)
— Night/24-hour bus links to/from the centre
Who we're looking for:
We enjoy spending time together when we can and are equally happy doing our own thing. We're looking for someone sociable and friendly, and who'd be happy to occasionally have dinner or a drink together etc.
Interested?
Drop us a message including information about yourself (job, hobbies, age etc.) We'll organise viewings over the next couple of weeks or so. We're looking forward to hearing from you!
