Spacious Double Room in Sunny Highgate 2-bed Flat

Hi, I’m looking for a flatmate to move into a lovely spacious and bright 2 bed in Highgate. I’ve been living here for 2 years with my flatmate, but she is sadly moving back home to New Zealand at the end of June.
The room available is very large, with a double bed, and furniture that my flatmate is willing to leave behind/sell if wanted.

The flat has a big living room with bay windows overlooking Highgate Wood, which is directly opposite, and while we don’t have a garden, the area is full of lovely outdoor spaces including the clearing in the woods and cafe there, the woods itself, Parkland Walk, and Hampstead Heath just 15 mins walk away. There is a kitchen off the living room, and bathroom with a shower over a bath.

Transport links are great- we are a 5 min walk from Highgate station (northern line with night tube) or 15 mins from East Finchley. There is a bus stop right in front of the flat with the 234 and N20 (night bus that comes via Camden). I also often walk ~20 mins across the woods to Muswell Hill or to Highgate Village, which are really lovely areas with lots of shops. There are also lots of little shops and cafes along the street opposite the tube station. In general the area feels very chilled and safe.

I am a 29 year old civil servant/scientist and enjoy all things food related, reading, bingeing tv and films, art, and have semi recently started running… I treat the flat as my home, and work from the living room 2-3 days a week (almost always at the office Wednesdays and Fridays). I keep the place clean, tidy and comfortable to enjoy spending time in. I would love to live with someone likeminded, who is calm, respectful and tidy, and up for the odd movie night/ enjoying the nice pubs and cafes in the area.
