Bright room with en-suite bathroom in beautiful flat located in Highbury & Islington. Our flatmate is moving out to room in with a friend, so we are looking for a single person to take their room.

THE ROOM 🛏
The room comes with a double bed with drawers, wardrobe, bedside table, bookcase and chest of drawers. You’ll also have access to your own bathroom.

THE FLAT 🏡
Located on the second and last floor in a secured, 6-flats building, our flat is at the centre of a quiet and peaceful neighbourhood, while being close to the hustle and bustle of London (e. g. the many shops, bars and restaurants of Upper Street, Holloway Road and Newington Green). The kitchen comes fully equipped with a fridge, oven, washing machine, plenty of storage space and all the cooking essentials. The living-room is furnished with a TV (although we are currently using mine), coffee table, sofas, dining table etc. We have a small balcony, and access to some communal grass area to sit outside in the summer. There is a small storage space on the building’s ground floor for bikes or furniture we’re not using. We also have the Highbury Fields park, and a lovely section of the New River Walk nearby.

- 13mins walk to Highbury & Islington tube and overground station
- 12mins walk to Essex Road tube station
- 25mins walk to Angel Central shops including the big Sainsbury’s and M&S
+ plenty of bus connections

ABOUT US 👋
Hey, we are Cecile and Lucia and we’re looking for a new flatmate for the third bedroom of our flat. We’re both professionals, in our early thirties, working hybrid model, so it would be great if you are also office-based most of the time. We love cooking (and eating!) food, travel and music. The vibes are pretty chill during the week, as we wind down after work. On the weekends we’re usually out and about doing our own things, and we’ll occasionally find the right timing to share a meal, watch a film, or go on an adventure together. This is definitely not a party house although we do have friends over occasionally. We’re friendly and social, whilst respectful of your space. We’re looking for someone who is clean, tidy and trustworthy. If this sounds like you, send us a message :)

INFORMATION 📋
Rent is £950 per complete month without bills.
Bills come to around £120 per person per month (council tax, internet, electricity, gas, water).
🛑 Please make the right financial choice for yourself! It is recommended that your rent should be around 1/3 of your monthly salary. This means that, to live comfortably on this rent, you earn a £45k+ salary.
The flat is handled by an agency, so you may be asked for a right to rent share code and other documents.

Move-in date from Sat. May 4th 2024.
The lease runs until the end of August. We have been renewing with the agency and the landlord since 2019.
No pet allowed. Non-smoker preferred.
