Double room near Highbury and Islington

Hi! I’m a 27 year-old vet living just around the corner from Highbury and Islington station in a first floor 2-bedroom flat in a Victorian apartment block, with a spacious double room which will be available from 7th August.

The flat is bright and airy with wooden floors, high ceilings and large windows. There is a shared bathroom (with bath and shower) and a compact (but very functional!) kitchen, both set at different levels from the bedrooms and living room.

The room available is a double room with a sash window which is furnished with a double bed, built-in wardrobe, chest of drawers, mirror, and bedside table.

I'm looking for another professional who's looking for a home rather than just co-existing, so I’d be keen to find someone who would enjoy doing things together - sharing meals when we’re both in, chilling together, going out for the odd drink etc. - but also respect space and privacy. Would also preferably be looking for someone who doesn’t work from home. I'm a clean and tidy person and like to keep the flat tidy and fresh to make a peaceful and homely environment to relax in.

The flat is a 2 minute walk from a local Tesco and Waitrose, and approx. 20 minute walk from a big Sainsbury’s and Waitrose. Highbury & Islington station (Victoria line and overground) is just a 4 minute walk. The street is residential and quiet.

Monthly rent is £950 per person, and bills come to approximately £150 per person. (Council Tax Band D)
