Looking for a Buddy to join my Tenancy 🏳️‍🌈

Hi everyone! My name is Paulo, I am a 42yo gay man, and I am looking for someone to join me in my current tenancy in Lewisham. The other flatmate is moving out around June 2024 which is when the room will be available.

The property is 5min walk to Lewisham Station. It is a quite nice nicely finished ground floor flat, very spacious with a lot of storage space in the basement, a large private back garden, and a smaller private side courtyard.

As per me, I am originally from Brazil and have been living in the UK for many years now. I work in the office Mon-Fri, with weekends off. I love going to the gym; cooking; reading; watching films and having a drink. I enjoy arts & craft, DIY, am also passionate about POI juggling/dancing and tend to practice it in the garden as often as I can.

I am very much a people's person, interested in socialising and getting to know those around me. I love a good laugh and a good chat but also enjoy my own company and some quiet time.

I am passionate about cooking, eating and am quite creative in the kitchen, there is rarely a bad time for me to cook. Dinner parties are always welcome, as well as games nights and pub quizzes. I love a gin & tonic, enjoy a nice bottle of wine with dinner and to have beers or cocktails out with friends.

Nights out do not happen much these days, but I do enjoy the occasional dancing, clubbing and festival with friends.

I speak fluently English & Portuguese and am gradually developing my Spanish through studying, traveling, watching films and TV series. Spanish speakers are very welcome to reach out.

The ideal buddy will be someone looking for a long-term rental, wanting to make the house a home. I am looking for someone fun, professional, who does not take life too seriously. Someone clean and tidy who keeps the place neat. I have had problems with messy and untidy flatmates in the past, so the ideal person is someone who looks after the house and respect each other’s space. I am not looking to live in ‘home show’ but in a warm and welcoming place to go to at the end of the day.

Credit checks will be needed in order to join me in in the tenancy agreement.
