This is a friendly and relaxed fourth-floor flat shared with two others: Paul (masters student) and Yuming (trainee actuary). The room itself is a light single room with large wardrobe, chest of drawers, and desk. From the balcony area can be seen a beautiful blossoming tree, with the Shard visible in the other direction. Paul loves cooking Indian food: there is often a large number of delicious vegetarian dishes spread across the table to share. Yuming keenly follows new theatre and film releases, often sending invitations to the next good-value play which he would like to go and see.

The flat is located in Balin House, a quiet and safe ex-Local Authority block of flats off Long Lane to the North and next to Guy’s hospital and the lovely King’s College London campus, which you can walk through to reach London Bridge Station. Alternatively, Borough Tube Station is equally close. There is a Tesco metro just across the road on Long Lane itself, and a large Tesco on Tooley Street, around 10 minutes’ walk away. As well as being really central, the area has a fun and interesting feel. The pubs, shops, restaurants and art galleries of Bermondsey Street and Borough High Street are all a short walk away.

There is a comfortable living room with a sofa, armchair, dining table / chairs, speakers and bookshelves, as well as a well-equipped kitchen with a gas stove, oven, fridge-freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle, and plenty of cutlery / utensils.
