Lovely bright double room in friendly 3-bed flat

A bright, medium-sized double bedroom is available in this lovely three-bed flat from early June. We're looking for a friendly and mature person, preferably at least 28 years old and wanting somewhere that feels like a proper home. For us, this means being considerate and pulling your weight to keep the place generally neat and clean, but still being able to relax and occasionally leaving the dishes for the morning! You would be sharing with a full-time PhD student (philosophy/cultural studies) and a freelance cinematographer. We have busy, independent lives but try to look out for each other and catch up over a drink or shared meals every so often.

Downstairs, the open plan kitchen/living room is lovely, bright and spacious, thanks to three big windows which let the sun in. This room is the main communal space, and has two comfy sofas and a big wooden table that seats eight comfortably for dinner. The kitchen includes oven/grill with a new 4-hob stove, a big fridge/freezer, microwave and dishwasher. All three bedrooms are fairly spacious and cheerful rooms with wooden floors, and come furnished with a double bed, double wardrobe, and a small wooden table (to which we have added our own drawers/shelves/desks). There is one bedroom downstairs and two upstairs - the available one is upstairs - along with the bathroom which has a shower over a bath and heated towel rail.

The flat is just off Camberwell New Road, so 5 mins walk to Camberwell Green, 12 mins walk to Oval tube, 20 mins on the bus to Vauxhall, 30 mins on bus/tube to Victoria or Waterloo, and 40 mins to King’s Cross. Our road goes between two main bus routes so we rarely have to get more than one bus, even at night. All the necessary amenities are within easy walking distance - 5 mins to the Coop, 5 mins to a big Morrison’s plus various restaurants, banks, pharmacy, doctors, dentists etc in Camberwell Green.

The rent is £550 per month plus bills, which are currently around £60 per person per month. A deposit of six weeks (£720) required. If you are a student or have been in your job for less than a year, the landlord requires a guarantor or 6 months rent upfront.
