A reasonable rent in Seven Sisters

Here's 6 reasons you move to Roslyn Road.

1) It's affordable: £534 plus bills a month, which are high right now so I'd say £734 all in. Still not bad for a nice London house on a quiet residential street. The room has a a double bed, plus one bookshelf for storage.

2) There are good facilities: a decent shower, big well-equipped kitchen, good-sized lounge with SKY TV / internet, where I work during the day but you’re welcome to watch TV and hang out in the evenings. This is not a party house though, so not one for people who love the sesh.

3) It's very accessible: Five minutes on foot from Seven Sisters Tube and on 24-hour bus routes like 243, 149, 76 etc.

4) Handy for work: 15 mins from Seven Sisters to Oxford Circus, 20 to Victoria. So handy if you work in Central London as you can get in and out quickly. 10 mins on bus to Stoke Newington, 15 to Dalston for East London. 20 mins to Liverpool Street via Seven Sisters Overground.

5) Good local amenities: Big Tescos by the station, plus a small Sainsburys on nearer high street West Green Road for those too lazy to cross the road. (Me, basically). There’s also Asda and Lidl further up the Tottenham High Road, as is True Craft, a friendly craft beer and pizza-selling pub.

6) Friendly housemates - 2 professionals, both male (32 and 43 respectively). I (Manu) work from home as a freelance journalist, while Martijin works in IT.

Overall we're laid-back in general, apart from when it comes to paying bills - I pay those and you pay me back ASAP please, for the sake of my poor crying credit card.

Finally though, I have to mention my 14 year old ginger cat, Vince. He's a good old guy and will probably want to come into your room so be warned... But seriously I have to say only people who've lived with cats before so are SURE they're not allergic. We've had someone have to leave suddenly after finding out that they were. Nobody wants a repeat of that so experienced cat fans only, please.
