Hello 👋🏻..
We have a light, bright large double bedroom available in our lovely split level flat in Stoke Newington. We love this flat and it is very much a home. Our housemate has bought a place but lived in the room for 6 years, so we are looking for a wonderful new housemate to join our home!
The room is available from beginning of June (could be 1st June TBC).

- The room is £950 pcm + bills around £160
- We have a great private landlord, so no agency fees and they’re really lovely
- Deposit is £950 (one months rent)

About the flat:
Our flat is set within a beautiful Victorian terrace, split level on the first and second floor. It's very safe and located on a quiet, tree lined street. Car Parking available on street.

It's a really spacious flat with high ceilings, really light with period features and lots of character, and feels quite private as it’s split level.

About the room:
Large master double room with two sash windows, tall ceiling and beautiful light, comes with 2 built in wardrobes and small built in desk. Has marble fireplace, and quiet leafy garden view (not our garden unfortunately!).
The bedroom will be unfurnished (excluding wardrobes and desk), there is plenty of room for a double bed, large chest of drawers, shelving unit (there’s currently a keyboard too).

About the living space:
We have a gorgeous large living / dining room, huge dining table which is lovely for dinner parties and pals, large bay windows and real wood floors. Lots of plants 🌱 There is a separate kitchen with a small dishwasher, fridge, freezer, washing machine. Large bathroom with a bath and a great rainfall shower as well as a second toilet on lower floor. We also have a shared storage / potential office space, and an attic, great for suitcases, coats and linen!

Location:
Set on a quiet, leafy road, but close to all the local amenities and transport links. The best of both worlds! Great location just a 5 minute walk to the bus stops / short bus ride to Dalston overground stations / 8 minute walk to Stoke Newington Station / Rectory Road / short walk to Church Street with lovely restaurants, bars and cute shops. Also a short walk to the local, the Axe 🍸🥂🍻 and if you know of it Londis N16 is at the end of the road.

About us:
You would be sharing with two girls; Esther is 30 and works in a social justice charity. Hollie is 31 and is a freelance fashion designer. We both work during the week, Monday - Friday, with a mix of home working and office. We tend to be pretty busy so we like to keep the flat chilled, clean and peaceful. This is a great home to come back to rather than a mad party pad. It would be great to find someone like minded who also wants a mix of kitchen chat and own space.

We like to look after the flat, treat it like our home, and keep everywhere clean and tidy, so we would like to find someone considerate who feels the same way. We also have a dishwasher in the kitchen which is always a bonus!

We are both friendly and creative, with shared interests in all things food, wine, socialising, art, design, travel, cooking, beers, and yoga / Pilates for balance.
