Very large double, high ceiling in 7bed Vic House
We are 6 friendly professionals/master student in our mid 20s-early 30s: myself, Greg, laywer, Riccardo (film editor), Angela (master student), Sarah (master student), Simon (software engineer) and John (software/IT professional).
We come from different countries across the UK, Europe, South America and the US.
We have moved into this beautiful house at a different time and truly enjoy living here and each other's company. Our former /current housemate will move out on 15th Oct and we look for a happy, laid back , sociable housemates (no couples or room shares.) to maintain a good sociable friendly house share for the soon to be vacant room.
We have preference for professionals, who are tidy, non-smokers, who look for a home rather than a hostel/hotel room, enjoy a glass of wine, a BBQ, going to the movies, etc. with us from time to time while respecting each other's space and enjoys the international spirit in the house.
The advertised room is a very large double bed room with large bay double glazing windows, high ceiling and wooden flooring. Furnished with a large double bed, and large wardrobes.
Our house:
Tufnell Park, N7, super spacious 7 bed, 3 floors, semi-detached Victorian house with a large back garden. It's 3 min walk away from Tufnell Park tube station/Northern Line/Zone 2 with lots of buses going to Central/West London and the City.
It has 7 huge double bedrooms with high ceilings and big double glazing windows, wooden floors throughout except for the staircase (which is covered by a high quality sisal carpet), wooden blinds, furnished, 2 bathrooms on the ground floor and top floor; 1 separate toilet. There's a living room on the ground floor and a fitted kitchen. A larger conservatory will be put in place to replace the current one.
We have a flat screen TV, a fitted kitchen with all necessary appliances s. a. dishwasher, washing machine, 1 gas cooker, and fast wireless internet etc...
Loads of storage space in the basement. Parking on the street with residential permits (easy to apply with the council and pay a small annual fee) and space for bikes in the back garden with easy access since the house is semi-detached.
Walking distance (approx 15-20min walk or a few min by bus) to Hampstead Heath and Camden Town. All kinds of shops, large super markets, department stores, gyms, ODEON movie theatre etc... between 3-10 min walk.
The advertised rooms costs £200pw excluding bills or £866. 67 per calendar month excluding bills.
Deposit for professionals is £892. 38 (= £866. 67 rent plus £25. 71 current council tax per person per month).Deposit for master student is £1, 784. 76 (= 2 months' rent and 2 months' council tax)
Reference required (but these are the things you will deal with our landlady). We prefer not to have pets/kids in the house. NO COUPLE, NO TWIN.
