Bright double room in Tufnell Park

One double room is available in our three-bedroom flat in leafy Tufnell Park.

It’s a bright double, with white walls and wooden floors. It also has double doors on to a small patio area. It’s furnished with a double bed, wardrobe, and a good-sized chest of drawers.

The flat itself is over the lower-ground floor of an end-of-terrace house. There are three bedrooms in total, plus a bathroom, a fully-equipped kitchen/living room and a small patio area. It’s on a quiet residential road and opposite a park, but nicely situated for getting into central London.

Tufnell Park (Northern Line) is our nearest tube station, and once it’s reopened early next year, is only a five minute walk away.

In the meantime, Archway (Northern Line), Kentish Town (Northern Line and National Rail) and Holloway Road (Piccadilly Line) stations are all a 10 to 20 minute walk away, and all in Zone 2. There are good bus links within very easy walking distance too.

There’s a handy Budgens at the top of the road, and larger supermarkets – Waitrose, Morrisons, Sainsbury’s, Iceland – are all close by. Some great restaurants, bars, pubs and independent shops are nearby in Tufnell Park and Kentish Town, and it’s easy enough to get to Angel, Camden or East London if you fancy.

You’ll be sharing the flat with Chris (works in market research in Holborn) and Charlotte (a journalist, works near St Paul’s). Our jobs keep us fairly busy at times, but it would be nice to find a new flatmate who’s keen to enjoy a cup of tea/glass of wine, meal, pub visit or general chat together.

Chris is a keen cook, so the kitchen contains pretty much every spice or condiment you could ever need!

Rent is £621 per month (works out at about £143 per week) so it’s a really well-priced flat for the area.

There’s also a deposit of £850 and a one-off agency fee of £50 to get your name added to the contract.

Bills come to around £70 or £80 per month (includes everything – electricity, water, internet, council tax etc.).
