Room in Garden Flat in Central Chiswick

Hi! My name is Sigrid and I am looking for a housemate to share my house-feel garden flat in the heart of Chiswick :)

The Flat:
Ground floor
Private entrance
Hallway with doors to the washing room + freezer
Living room with two sofas, coffee table and a dining table
Open planned kitchen with half sized fridge + gas hob
Bathroom with bathtub
Large private garden with a bench, table and chairs

The Room:
The room has double glazed windows facing the garden so you won’t hear any noise from the road, only potentially a friendly neighbourhood cat or birds chirping. There is an IKEA Brimnes daybed that can either be a single bed or double bed with two drawers underneath for easy storage. There is also an IKEA bedside table + an IKEA shelving unit with space for fitted box drawers. The bed has to stay as it was built in the room but the other furniture can potentially be put somewhere else if you wanted to put in a wardrobe instead.

Location:
The flat couldn't be closer (whilst still tucked quietly away) to the shops, pubs and restaurants of Chiswick. It is 30 seconds from the high road where the main busses run and less than five minutes walk to Turnham Green Station. If you're new to Chiswick I have been here for over ten years and am happy to play tour guide!

About You:
I would love someone who is quite relaxed, flexible, reliable, friendly, clean and tidy, non-smoker and without pets. I love being social but this is more of a dinners & a movie kind of house than party central, if you know what I mean. I respect other peoples space and sometimes need my own. If you are looking for a bedsit or a short let I am happy to discuss. Price listed is for long let, which is 6 months or more.

About Me:
I’m 34, from Norway and have lived in London for about 10 years. I am a marketing manager and a singer/songwriter. I work mainly from home but am in the office twice a week and often out on freelance jobs. I have a varied work life, which keeps things interesting! I love music, art, movies, fashion and going to gigs or just out with friends. I’m often back in Norway and hope to travel some more this year. I’m a friendly and easy-going person and having a harmonious home is very important to me :)

I have been here for over three years now and really love this flat. I rent but treat it as my own and am looking for someone to rent from me and not enter the contract. This has been discussed with the agency and the successful person would need to be approved by the landlord with the proper documentation. I used to work in property and have experience with property management and lettings, which is why I am choosing to do it this way.
