A lovely bright, light, first floor unfurnished double bedroom available in a period terraced house in Walthamstow. Sharing with only one other current housemate (me).

The house is an attractive period property with a spacious feel, and is in good condition, with a big garden and patio to boot. It's cosy in the winter with efficient central heating and warms up quickly but equally cool in the summer.

Shared Living Spaces:
Dining/living room; A large, bright light room that looks onto the garden.
kitchen; neat, compact size but quick to clean with Gas hob, eclectic oven, microwave, large fridge freezer and washer dryer
Bathroom; Bright and light with shower, bath, heated towel rail and tiled floor
Huge Attic: great for storage
Garden, Patio and Outside toilet

The room is only available due to my current housemate moving in with her boyfriend after happily sharing together for several years.

Furniture:
My housemate is also selling some furniture which may be of help if you are without. If you have furniture for the rest of the flat I may be able to accommodate some of yours as the majority of current furniture belongs to her. I will be buying furniture for some common spaces when my existing flatmate moves.

Location:
The house is off Coppermill lane, and a 10min walk to St James Overground station and 20 mins walk to Blackhorse Rd Station(on the reliable Victoria line)

Cyclists:
Plenty of room to store a bike at the back. There are also bike hangers on the street and spaces may be available to rent via the council but you will need to contact them to confirm.

Parking:
There is on street parking but you would have to apply and pay or a permit from Waltham Forest Council . I have a visitors permit and it works with the Ringo App and needs to be renewed each year.

Living Together:
I like to live in a relaxed, clean and tidy home where we both do our share to keep things nice, cleaning up after ourselves (especially necessary). Not playing mega loud music.

Please note, I am planning on getting a cleaner so looking for someone who is happy to go 50/50 on the costs

I am concerned about the planet and like to recycle and use eco friendly products so someone onboard with this would be great.

It would be nice to share with someone who is up for being more than a stranger and happy to spend time watching a film, enjoying the odd meal together and get to know each other in a relaxed way. But also respectful of each other’s privacy, our own space and noise levels. I’ve recently got into gardening and am trying to improve the garden so someone who shares this interest or likes to grow fruit and veg and happy to share the results would be ideal. Enjoy the occasional small gathering/party / dinner party / BBQ - yes Please!
