Double room in spacious City Centre duplex flat

Double room available in a spacious City Centre flat.

It´s a medium sized room with a lovely big sash window which is furnished with a double bed and wardrobe, with additional closet space right outside the room. There is one large bathroom which is shared between the flatmates, which has a bathtub with a powerful shower.

The living space consists of a big living room with comfy sofas and feature fireplace, which is connected to the open plan dining room / kitchen area. The flat is well decorated, very bright and has amazing views of both Cathedrals.

It´s situated on Mount Pleasant with a 5 minute walk to town or Universities, and is also close to the Royal Hospital (10 minutes). It is a top floor duplex flat above offices (so no noisy neighbours) with resident parking options.

The bills are split between housemates, and roughly come to £70-75 per month. The rent including bills will be around £350 a month. The room is available from the 20th June 2018.

A little about us. We are two professionals who occupy two of the rooms of the three bedroom flat. Malena is a manager for a charity and work on projects that help refugees and asylum seekers, and I am an architect. We work 8am- 6pm Monday to Friday, and would ideally like someone with a similar timetable. We are friendly outgoing people who work hard, but we also like the odd night out and spending with friends. Some of our hobbies include hiking, cooking and travelling, and we have a fondness for good wine and gin :)

We are both easy going, clean and respectful, and would like to find someone similar to share the flat. Our philosophy is that the home is a calm place for everyone to enjoy. We are not only looking for a reliable person to pay the rent and bills, but also someone who will contribute to the friendly atmosphere at home.

We would like to share the flat with people around our age (minimum age 25), as we have long passed our student days. Our standards for the cleanliness of the common areas are quite high, so we are looking for people with similar standards to avoid unnecessary issues.
