Double room in happy house

Lounge through to S-facing back garden

Use of whole house and room in a sunny Victorian terraced house with back garden. High ceilings, stripped floorboards and the usual mod cons. The room has a comfortable double bed and built-in wardrobes and can be let furnished or unfurnished.

Friendly, mature (but young at heart), respectful landlady with many interests (including the arts, travel and the natural world). I'm looking for someone similar, ideally a Mon-Fri professional (but will consider other arrangements for the right person, including use as office/consulting/storage space).

The house is in a quiet road in a village setting, with the railway station and 24hr bus stops only a minute on foot. Shops, Waitrose, banks, pubs, restaurants and takeaways are all only minutes on foot and the amenities of Kingston (cinemas, clubs, shops etc) are 10 minutes by bus or train. For drivers, the M3 and M25 are a short drive away (and there's on-street parking here).

Other attractions within walking distance: River Thames, Bushy Park, Hampton open-air swimming pool.

I've had only 4 lodgers/non-lodgers (will explain!) during the past 12 years so that should give you some indication that I'm easy going but also respect your space. If it sounds like there's the potential we could rub along together then drop me a line.
