Small double 3-4mins Harrow on the Hill BILLS INC
Hello.
I am looking for someone to move into the smaller of the two rooms in a 2-bed flat on Peterborough Rd, Harrow-on-the-Hill.
Please note the photos were taken late in the day, the flat lets a lot of light in usually, especially in the summer. You can tell by the photo with the cat (who's not in the flat anuymore).
The price includes ALL bills, but NOT the electricity cost. Electricity is on a meter and readings are sent each month, and depends on usage, hence why these cannot be included in the rent price.
Everything else is included, water, council tax, tv licence, WI-FI, etc. I may be able to provide a parking permit for a car if I am allowed to replace my reg number with another. If this is something that's required, I can look into it. The parking permit is £50 per year, last time i checked.
It is a nice, cosy, and very quiet flat. There is a communal roof terrace on two floors, and the neighbours are very quiet. It is only a 3/4 mins walk to Harrow on the Hill station. The Metropolitan line is very reliable, it's about 25 mins to Baker St. Kenton Station is also nearby, and if you need the Piccadilly line then Rayners Lane is two stops away. Great for Heathrow trips! There is also a direct special bus to Heathrow.
The room available is the one that has the bike inside. I'd say it's a small double, definitely not a single, but not large enough to be a double. The bed is a small double bed (again, wider than a single bed, but not as wide as a double).
Flat is fully furnished, it comprises of a large open plan kitchen/lounge, balcony, bathroom, the two rooms, and a corridor where the entrance is. There is some space for storage around the flat as well, a few cupboards, and such.
The other person leaving in the flat is Chris, a professional working as a sommelier at one of the top 5* hotels in London. He works long hours so in reality you'd be by yourself most of the time.
Ideally I’d like someone who is easy going, professional, no students please, and no agencies. Someone who looks after themselves and keeps a tidy flat all around. No couples please, I am looking for one person as the room is perfect for one, but too stuffy for two, definitely. Also the flat is perfect for two people, three may be too much. There is a bed, a wardrobe, and a chest of drawers in the room (the bike is not included as it is no longer there!). I might accept pets, but this is not certain, we can have a chat about it anyway.
I'd like one month in advance and one month deposit before moving in, along with a copy of your passport. References are needed also, but in exceptional circumstances we can make an exception. I am looking for someone long term if possible, if not then at least a few good months, 6 at least.
Some of the stuff you see in the photos (like the cat, music equipment, or bike) are no longer in the flat so the flat is a lot more roomy now.
Room is available either from the 12th OR the 19th of May. If you think this is of interest to you, please get in touch.
Thanks,
Colin
