The location has a village/country feel yet is minutes away from city centre and the house overlooks the green, has front and back garden and the woods and Whitlingham broad at the doorstep. There is a corner shop, two pubs and a vegetarian restaurant within a minute walk from the house and neighbours are quite friendly.

The city centre and rail station are a 15-20 walk away, and the village is well served by regular busses. There is on street parking, no permits required. Plenty of loft storage and a shed for bicycles.
