I have a nice room available in my Edwardian house in Haxby, 4 miles north of York town centre. The house is on a frequent bus route to town, and walking distance from all the amenities Haxby has to offer.
It has a lounge, through kitchen/dining room, utility/workshop, downstairs wc, 3 double bedrooms (mine with en-suite), study, bathroom, parking space garage and garden at the rear.
The room on offer is in a recently completed loft conversion and measures 3. 5m x 4. 0m (including some at restricted height). You would have near exclusive use of the bathroom on the 1st floor, shared use of kitchen/dining room/utility/garden, and off-road parking.
I'm a semi-retired ex-professional, and I have a busy social life so you would have the place to yourself most evenings.
