1 Double Bedroom available near York Centre

The room

I am moving out of my double room (just next to the city walls in York) in mid-October. The date you move in can be flexible, but ideally around the 15-20th of October would be best.

I live with a PhD student and two young professionals (22, 26 and 29). My housemates are all my friends although one is a new addition (she only moved here in July) so you wouldn't be the odd one out. Everybody is friendly and respectful.

I'm hoping the room will be taken over by a young professional or mature student. The house came unfurnished originally but I will be able to include a futon bed, chest of drawers, bookcase and desk if necessary. There is a built in wardrobe just next to the door too. Alternatively I can leave it unfurnished when I move. The room itself is a decent-sized double on the top floor, very light in the daytime and with handy blackout blinds for night.

The rooms in the house are all doubles, and everyone pays the same rent; it has a newly refurbished kitchen, downstairs w/c and upstairs bathroom with shower. There is also some amount of storage space, a living room with decent HD tv and a dining room that you're welcome to use.

The house is on a nice quiet terraced street, close to York St John's University but in a good area which is really close to the centre. On street permit parking is available, and the house has a little yard out back with space to keep a bike.

The room is £300 p/m plus bills. The bills include broadband and Sky tv. Please get in touch if you'd like to know more :)
