Newly refurbished house - 5 min walk to Minster

We have a double room available to rent in our lovely, newly refurbished Victorian terrace house on St. Olaves Road, York.

The house has just undergone a substantial overhaul, including new bathrooms, kitchen, lighting, carpets and flooring, and re-decoration throughout. The house is furnished and we have been living here for a year.

The house has an entrance hall with stairs to the first floor, separate living room with open fire, bay window and new TV, dining room/study with french doors, kitchen with gas cooker, fridge/freezer, washing machine and dishwasher, and outside yard with bike shed and secure access.

On the first floor is a large bathroom with new shower and roll-top bath, separate toilet and three bedrooms (one is ensuite).

The house has gas central heating, broadband, on-street parking (St Olaves Road is permits-only but surrounding streets are free), contents insurance and is furnished throughout. All bills included in the price.

The double bedroom available is large and furnished with pine wardrobe, chest of drawers, dresser and built-in cupboard. A bed does not come with the room (belongs to the current tenant) but could be added if you don't have one.

The house would be shared with 2 professionals, Becky and Hannah. Both work full-time in the centre of York. Becky is away most weekends and her bf Ed stays at the house Sun-Wed nights. We are looking for someone who would be friendly, conscientious and happy to hang out with us in the communal areas. Regular activities include going to the pub quiz, cycling and eating fish & chips.
