The flat is located on Fishergate, just outside the city walls, and is within walking distance of the town centre (5 minutes), the main train station (15 minutes) and several grocery stores including a local Tesco and Sainsbury’s (5 min walk away) and the larger Morrison’s and Aldi stores (less than 15 minutes). It also only takes approximately 20 minutes to reach the University of York’s market square on the Heslington campus, but one can also catch a bus to there (and the East campus) if desired from a stop one-minute walk away. There are also plenty of pubs and restaurants / takeaways (fish n’ chips / pizza / curry / Chinese) nearby if one desires.
The leaving tenant is only going due to completing his PhD and moving on. The remaining tenant is a friendly well-mannered male who is in his final year of his engineering PhD degree.
Internet is included in the rent for the room, whilst gas / electricity / water bills are on top, ranging from the usual £25-45 per person per month (depending on the season).
