Double room with ensuite in Mapperley Park area

Hi,

My flatmate Mark and I are looking for a new housemate in our great house in Mapperley Park, as our current housemate is moving for her new job in London. We're both young professionals - I work as a geologist (I'm not as boring as that makes me sound, honest!), and Mark is a solicitor.

We're both pretty sociable, and often cook together, chill out and watch films, and go out round town too. We’re also quite outdoorsy, so if you like the sound of a sociable house like this then you could well be the perfect match!

Your room would be a huge double room with an en-suite containing shower/bath. It’s on the top floor of the house (up a spiral staircase, no less!) and stays really warm as the whole place is double glazed. The house also has Sky in the living room.

The house has a huge open plan living/kitchen/dining area, which gets loads of sun and opens out onto a balcony on one side and decking on the other. We have a garden too that stays pretty sunny for most of the day in summer, and we have barbecues out there when the weather is good. We have a garage, and although my car is parked in it at the minute, there's plenty of on street parking. There's extra storage in the downstairs hallway and in the garage, and the house has automatic gates to keep the place secure.

The house is pretty centrally located; it's on regular bus route into town, and it takes 15-20 minutes to walk into town. Plus, if it's a late night, taxis back home are really quick and only cost around a fiver.

Regarding rent/bills: The rent is £365 per month. We then all pay £150 into the bills account, and so far that has been sufficient for all bills during the tenancy.
