Double bedroom, Central Abingdon, Monday to Friday

Double bedroom available in our lovely, clean, quiet, Abingdon town centre house (in gated development) for Monday to Friday rental. We are an easy-going married couple, happy to chat or leave you to your own devices.

The room ideally suits someone working in the area during the week wanting somewhere comfortable and quiet to sleep, as a hotel room style offering, at a lower cost than local hotels.

The location is fantastic - Central Abingdon, only 2 minute walk to shops, restaurants, gyms, pubs and frequent bus services to Oxford and Didcot, but tucked away in a quiet development.

The house is arranged over three floors. The available bedroom is on the ground floor, nicely decorated and carpeted and furnished with a double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers and TV. The house has ultrafast broadband.

The occupant will have use of the main bathroom upstairs with bath and shower and a cloakroom/washroom on the ground floor across from the bedroom, so no waiting for the shower in the morning (we have an ensuite so don’t use bathroom in the mornings).

Bedding is provided and washed weekly, and room cleaned weekly. You are welcome to leave clothes/belongings etc in the room over the weekend. Parking is available in the car park right next door (free after 6pm).

The home is non-smoking. Rent is inclusive of bills. We have a lovely old cat so you must be OK with him (although he's not allowed in tenants room and largely will keep himself to himself, sleeps most of the time!). Please note we both work from home so the room is only suitable for someone who is out at work during the day.

I have received several enquiries asking if the room can be available on a 7 day basis, unfortunately this is not possible. Sunday evening arrival may be possible at extra nightly cost. Thank you.
