Bright Small Double in liberal household with cat

We have an excellent value double room in gay-friendly Victorian terraced house in East Oxford. £420 all inclusive with a minimum stay of 6 months. The room will be available from the 20th of August, as that is when the current housemate is moving out.

Located in the back of the house, the room is bright, sunny and comes furnished with a small double bed and chest of drawers whilst also allowing space for your own furniture. The bathroom has separate shower and bath and contains the washing machine.
There is lots of communal space: kitchen with breakfast table, your own fridge and half a freezer; back room with dining table and light front room with tv and two sofas. The front room has a sofabed which is available so that guests may have their own room when staying. There is also storage available in the communal areas of the house, should you want any.

There is a large back garden, which is particularly nice now the evenings are lighter and warmer, with a table, chairs and a large lawn. There is a secure shed for storage of a bicycle, which is easily accessed through a side gate. The house is in a nice, quiet area close to both Cowley Road and Iffley Road. There are no on-street parking restrictions. It is well served by the number 3 bus service which goes to town and continues to the train station (which also runs a night service) and is within walking distance of many amenities: the Kassam stadium and cinema, large supermarket, post office depot and numerous takeaways. There is a close walking/running route via the Sandford and Iffley locks.

You would be living with a female couple in our 20s: one is a teacher and the other works in the environmental sector. We both work full-time. We have a lovely young cat. We are looking for a friendly and sociable housemate who enjoys relaxing in the evenings and weekends. Cyclists and fans of The Walking Dead are particularly encouraged.
