Double room to rent just off Cowley Road

Hi everyone,

We have a furnished double room available from 1 July in a shared house just off Cowley Road, for £575/month plus bills (~£70/month for water, gas, electricity and fast 1 Gbit internet). The location is amazing as its just a 2 min walk to main section of Cowley Road, which has a Tesco, Sainsbury's and a huge selection of restaurants nearby. You can cycle to the city centre in 8 min and to the JR hospital in Headington in less than 15 min.

The room is about 8 square metres in size. All of the rooms were recently painted and the bathrooms were installed just before we moved in one and a half years ago. There are two bathrooms (each with toilet, sink and shower) and two additional toilets (four in total). This means you will only share your bathroom with one other housemate. The kitchen has a dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer.

We, the other housemates, are four male DPhil students doing research in English Literature, Health Data Science and Mathematics respectively, and a cute little pug. Our partners will be over from time to time, so our house is a little more packed occasionally.

We are looking for anyone who is roughly our age (24/25) and wants to rent the room for two months up until 25 August, since we will be moving to a different house after that. We are also looking for someone to commit long term and move into that house with us, so let us know if you are interested in that.

If you are not a student, you would pay council tax for the whole house (everyone else is a student and thus exempt). For council tax band D and applying the 25% Single Person Discount this comes down to an extra £185/month.
