Beautiful house in Iffley Fields

We are looking for a new housemate to join our tenancy at the beginning of March. The current contract runs until the end of August, but there is the potential to renew the lease at this point.

THE HOUSE 


We really like this place and want to treat it like a home. We have a shared dining room with sofa, a large kitchen with loads of light, a little breakfast bar and plenty of utensils, spices, etc. to share. 



There is a long garden with a plum tree, hammock and a newly-established vegetable patch. We get on well with the neighbours who have kids and are always friendly and helpful. 



There is a small, modern bathroom upstairs with walk-in shower (no bath). 

Lots of storage space in downstairs cupboard, outhouse (for bikes, etc), cupboards upstairs (sheets, etc) and loft space. 

We have a washer/dryer, large fridge/freezer, fast Virgin wi-fi, gas cooker/hobs, heated clothes dryer, bike-locking points outside and several interesting hats.

THE ROOM FOR LET

The room is a gorgeous first-floor double which has plenty of space and light. There is a very characterful fireplace, as well as a large wardrobe, chest of drawers and built-in shelves.

THE PEOPLE 


You'll be sharing with three females in their mid-twenties. We are fairly active young professionals, and we like to maintain a fairly relaxed and peaceful house-share.

We like to be friendly and respectful, keep the place tidy, cook/eat together if schedules cross, share some food and have occasional dinner/house parties. We like to keep a balance between enjoying the house together and private time/doing our own thing. 



THE AREA 


We love the area - it's really quiet, but close to great pubs/food like Chester Arms (at the bottom of the street), Magdelan Arms, Oli's Thai, Oxfork and the Rusty. There is a Co-op nearby, staying open until 11pm. Buses into town leave every several minutes. We're also a short walk to Cowley Road, but far enough away for some peace and quiet! The city centre is a short cycle ride away, or around 15-20 mins on foot. 

We're right next to a nature reserve and the river, alongside which is a lovely walk into town during the summer.



YOU! 


We're looking for someone friendly, who is used to house sharing and keen to help us look after the house and keep it tidy. A good sense of humour, and someone who keeps a fairly usual routine (eg. fairly normal bedtimes, etc) would be great. We like movies, music, travelling, sports, cooking, books… 

We're really keen to find someone who wants a real house share, not just a bedroom to crash in.
