Double room with brand new double divan bed, large white Ikea shelving unit, for rent in my large 4 bed GCH, DG, detached corner house in quiet cul-de-sac on the Waterfront in Barry. Downstairs cloakroom toilet. Use of lounge with landline, Sky TV, Wifi/Broadband. (I don't really use the Lounge). All bills are included in the rental except for any phonecalls you make on the landline, these are payable in addition. Use of the Dining room with french doors opening onto decking. Use of the main refurbished bathroom with tiled underfloor heating (no bath).. Fully fitted kitchen with fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, gas hob, electric cooker, microwave. You will have your own delegated cupboards/shelves. Use of large landscaped rear garden with large decking area, patio with chimnea & lighting, hammock area, shed, gas BBQ. Its Winter so garden is a mess at the moment. Garage available for limited storage if needed. There's parking for 1 additional car on the driveway & there's also a car park to the rear of the property. Cardiff airport is 15 minute drive away. Morrisons, Asda, GP's, pharmacies, local pubs cafes & shops, Porthkerry Park, Barry Island, Jacksons Bay, The Knap, Romilly Park, train stations & bus stops are all within walking distance as are High Street, Broad Street & Holton Road. Cardiff is only 15-20 mins drive. I am looking for a clean, quiet, neat & tidy, trustworthy, respectful professional/working person. I live here with my daughter, 4 cats & 1 rescue dog so you must like animals! My Horse takes up most of my free time. I am unable to agree to parties, bringing people home after nights out etc. Visitors are welcome, just let me know in advance so I can give you some space. You must take responsibility for cleaning your own room and bathroom on a regular basis & cleaning up after yourself when using the shared facilities. The only rule i have is no food upstairs. This is more of a house-share; I don't expect you to live in your room! Ideally I require at least 1 reference from a previous landlord if possible, plus 1 work reference. Identity checks may be carried out. Formal agreement/contract must be signed. Sorry no DSS, no students, no smokers but ECigs are fine.
