Double Room in Adamsdown

We're looking for new housemates! Two of us are moving away from Cardiff to be closer to family. One is moving out around the 20th, the other around the end of this month. (Update: our ground floor room is now taken, but our first floor one is still available)

Both rooms are spacious, double furnished with a bed, wardrobe, drawers and shelves. One is on the first floor with a south facing window onto the street and the other is on the ground floor with a north facing window into the garden.

The house is in a great location with bus links all across the city and only a 15 minute walk to the centre. It's got some wear and tear but is still comfortable and sturdy, with a responsive landlord. We're well furnished with essential amenities including a washing machine, tumble dryer, equipped kitchen, dining room, living room and even have a garden. We have two bathrooms, one with a shower/bath combo.

As for us, we're a professional but sociable, creative and left-leaning bunch! We all play music, though always during reasonable hours, and we enjoy cooking, board gaming, watching movies and just plain old hanging out together.

We hope to find a similar, friendly, tidy and considerate professional person who is responsible with sharing the space, keeping noise down during rest hours and contributes towards a great house atmosphere. We hope to make new friends as well as gain a new housemate! Smokers are welcome as long as you smoke outside in the garden.

As for the details, each room is £280 rent per month with a £200 deposit, water is included. Bills fluctuate but tend to be about £95 per month, though some of that contributes towards energy bill credit which will get refunded between all of us if unused. Bills are for electric/gas/internet/Council Tax (Band D) and our household budget. Rent is payable to the landlord and a housemate sorts out bills. Our household budget goes towards items used by all of us, e. g. toilet paper, washing up liquid.
