Mid-week/ short-term let in central Cardiff

I have a double room available for a in a cosy and comfortable three-bedroom terrace house in Splott, ten minutes walk from the city centre. It's a traditional terrace house with a homely, rustic feel.

The room is primarily available for shorter term/ midweek lets, but I'd be happy to consider something longer if it was a good fit.

The house has a good-sized kitchen and living-dining room, as well as a third bedroom that could be used as a second sitting room (it also has a desk if someone needs a place to work). There's also a small garden that's a work-in-progress! There's plenty of on-street parking and wifi. It's my home so I look after it and hope housemates would do the same - but I'm not precious, accept things sometimes get broken, and hope people feel comfortable and welcome whilst they're here.

I've had a few previous tennants and they've all been great, ranging from people looking for 6-month lets for work contracts to people who have needed accommodation for a few months whilst studying or when they've been inbetween homes.

I work for a charity and am generally quite busy in the week. When I'm in, I like to cook and relax with a good book or Netflix. When I'm out, I'm at yoga classes, singing in a choir, learning Welsh (a Welsh-speaking housemate would be great!) and listening to/ telling stories.

I think the let would suit someone looking for a homely place to stay where they can have some peace and relax in the evening - but who would also like a bit of company from time to time. It's 10 minutes walk from town and City Road, 20 minutes on foot to Central Station and 20-30 minutes walk to the Bay.

I'd prefer a female but would consider a male tenant. I'm looking for a professional or mature/ postgraduate student.

Rent includes all bills and is 90 pounds per week or 350 for a month. I usually ask for a small deposit upfront.

The room is not available until January 2016 and the minimum period for a stay is one month.
