Double room in lovely, spacious house in Canton

We have a lovely large, furnished double room available from July the 20th in our homely house-share.

The room is an attractive second floor room with gorgeous varnished wooden floorboards and a section of beautiful Victorian underpaint on one wall (see photo, it's lush!).

The house is a nice big house with a huge bathroom with a double size bath, a lovely country style kitchen with a big range cooker / oven, and solid wood cupboards and surfaces.

There's also a separate dining room, an upstairs cosy living room and a big, sunny garden.

There are three of us living in the house at the moment - Jack, Josh and Francesca. We're very friendly, sociable and considerate professionals aged between 25 - 30. Though we can be pretty busy, we also like to chill and hang out together when we can. Blue house interests include cooking mega feasts, left-wing activism, gin, books, board games, pub quizzes, theatre, live music, arts and photography.

Our lovely landlady Tamsin also has a little room upstairs. She's super nice and comes to visit occasionally when she's in the area.

It's a really friendly, laid-back and perfectly located house, close to lots of parks, nice shops, bars and cafes, 5 mins from Chapter arts centre and about a 15 minute walk into town and central station.

We're looking for someone easy-going, reliable and gay-friendly who wants to make their house a home!

Just some extra adminy bits - the room is available from the 20th of July. The rent includes water, council tax and WiFi. Gas and electricity are paid separately (it's a fixed tariff charge of £25 a month per person throughout the year) There's also a security bond of £400 to be paid upfront with the first month's rent. Also, although the house is non-smoking indoors, the garden is a nice place to go for a smoke. :)
