Friendly woodside home in Norton Lees

I have two rooms available in my cosy woodside home in Norton Lees. The house backs directly onto the woods, has a lovely big garden, recently upgraded kitchen and a living room with great views.

Our road is friendly with great community spirit. There's several local buses going into town, a local Coop and pharmacy. We're about 10 minutes from Graves Park and Meersbrook Park and a 20 minute walk to Lidl and the various delights of Chesterfield Road.

You'll be sharing with me, one other room mate and Jasper the cat. I work in sustainability and climate change policy. I like foraging, dancing, and hanging out in the woods.

You don't need to have similar interests to live here, what's important to me is creating a peaceful, friendly, nourishing homespace for us all.

I'm both extroverted and introverted- meaning I love a good chat but also quiet moments and particularly evenings when at home. I'd like to get some veg growing going this spring, so great if you're interested in gardening too.

I'm ideally looking for room mates who work away from home or max 1 day a week at home if poss- though if you feel you're a good fit in other ways I'm open to a chat.

Room 1: Upstairs Double £525- including all bills
Cosy double with super comfy IKEA bed and mattress and large drawers. Room for under bed storage. I would be happy to provide a small clothes rail or desk, depending on your preference.

Room 2: Ensuite Single £515- including all bills
Single converted basement room facing the garden with separate entrance over brand new garden decking.
Wake up to the woods each morning! Brand new single bed and mattress, shelves and storage cupboard and ensuite toilet. This room would suit someone who likes a bit more privacy, being that bit closer to nature, and doesn't have masses of stuff.
