Homely house share

I am looking for someone to take over my tenancy from 1st June. The current contract is until 18th October but if the house is right for you the girls are looking at staying for longer.

Finding someone who is right for us is important and I’m only leaving to buy a house myself. This house really has become family so looking for someone to feel at home here like I have been.

The 3 girls in the house 2 are working professionals and 1 soon to graduate master student (25). Happy to be replaced by another older student as long as you’re happy contributing to council tax which is currently 140 a month for the whole house. Overall bills have been around 120 each ish a month (council tax, wifi, water, tv license, gas, electric). Expecting this figure to go down now winter is over.

The house is unfurnished but all communal bits have been purchased so £110 towards that would be required (washing machine, fridge, dishwasher, sofa, chair, other random house bits). I have my bedroom furniture which I would happily sell for cheap including a mattress brand new from October, desk, chair, bed, chest of drawers and shelves. Or youre welcome to bring your own bedroom furniture. The room does have a built in wardrobe with a mirror so only a bed and chest of drawers are really necessary. There is also a large basement for storage.

The house dynamic is great we all respect each other and currently we do shared cooking which you would be welcome to join in or not . We do currently have a cleaning rota and would like another clean and tidy house mate. The girls you’ll be living with are interested in nature, outdoors, crafts and we can often be found having a cosy night in or out at the pub.

The house is rented by 2 lovely private landlords who have sorted everything timely. Being an old terrace we have had some roof issues and just general fixing up jobs.
