Friendly Professional House - Broomhill

Our house:
It’s a four-bedroom terrace house in the Broomhill area of Sheffield, featuring: two bathrooms (one with a shower, one with a bath); a kitchen (including a dishwasher and gas hob); a spacious living room; and a garage. We have access to a shared garden, which in the summer months is quite a sun-trap. There is ample on-street parking directly outside the property, both permit-holders only and free-of-charge. The available bedroom has a single bed (but there is plenty of room for a double), a desk, chest of drawers, bedside table and a wardrobe.

The house is fully furnished and well equipped. The living room has everything you’d want for your entertainment needs: a large TV, Sky+ HD with all the trimmings, fast broadband and a well-stocked drinks shelf. The house is carpeted throughout which gives it a more homely feel than many rental properties. Bills aren’t included in the rent, but we estimate that they will come to around £100 pppm. While we are advertising the room ourselves, the house is managed by a letting agency who charge a one-off admin fee of £120 for a new tenant.

The location:
Fantastic location near some of Sheffield’s nicest green spaces; right beside the Botanical Gardens and a short walk from both Endcliffe Park and Weston Park. It is 5-10 minutes away from a variety of shops and amenities on both Ecclesall Road and in Broomhill. The city centre is a 20-minute walk away or alternatively there are plenty of public transport links close-by.

You’ll be sharing with us:
My name is Liam, 23; you’ll also be sharing with Amy, 24 and Jamie, 25. We’re all in full-time employment and work more or less 9-5 Monday to Friday. We try to leave our work in the office, so weekday evenings you’ll probably find us in front of the TV or at one of the local pubs. We’re a friendly and sociable bunch, we don’t take each other too seriously, and we always try to get out together at least once a week. All of us are fairly active and like to play sports or keep fit generally.

What we’re looking for:
We’re looking for someone who feels like they’ll fit in with the above! Ideally a professional, in or starting a job, with normal working hours and unlikely to bring their work home – to make the most of the house being a relaxing and sociable environment.
