Double room in spacious open plan house

We're a couple who've bought our first house earlier this year and looking for a lovely lodger to share our new home.

The house is located at the top end of Roebuck road, which is 5-10 mins walk to either Chessington North or Tolworth stations. The K2 and number 65 bus stop is only 1 minute walk away, which will take you to Surbiton, Kingston and beyond. It’s a really nice neighbourhood, that is just 3 mins drive away from the A3, yet is set back enough to be quiet and relaxing after a long day at work.

Downstairs we have a large, open plan living room (great for entertaining), with a large sofa, TV and full Sky package, as well as fibre broadband.

The large kitchen overlooks the garden, and is connected to a den/small living room that's closed off from the main living area for when you want your own space to relax).

The house also has a sunny 80" garden, with patio area at the back, making the perfect location for spring/summer BBQs (well, anytime the sun is out really, we're no strangers to a winter cook up!). The garden backs on to a private double garage with access via an access road at the back of the property. Our new lodger will be welcome to use one of the spaces.

The room available is a generous sized double room, overlooking the garden at the rear of the house. The room is currently painted white and furnished with a double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers and a bed side cabinet
We have two bathrooms, the main one upstairs and the second downstairs.

As well as us, you’ll be sharing this house with our two small non hair shedding Yorkshire terriers, Dylan and Darcy, so you’ve got to be a pet person to fit in here. We've also just had puppies (which are at the time of writing 3 weeks old! Even if you’re not, these little dogs will try their very best to make you love them, being on the constant hunt for cuddles!

We’re looking for someone clean and tidy, who enjoys a quiet night in watching a TV show (our lives feel empty now that Breaking Bad is over, but we’re filling the gap with Masterchef Australia or a movie) as much as the occasional wine fuelled evening of acceptable carnage. Rent is £575 a month, inclusive of all bills (unless you leave all the lights on all the time, in which case your lighting privileges will be revoked and you’ll be given a tea light candle and a lighter).
