Single room in Chobham (GU24 area)

Tidy, respectable and friendly non-smoking men to share the house and facilities. There are two rooms currently available: a good-sized double room with a wardrobe, chest of drawers, double bed and a tv aerial point; and a single room with single bed, chest of drawers, wardrobe and tv point. The single also has a second bed that stows away under the main bed, which can be pulled out for occasional use, and turns the two beds into a large double. There's not much room for anything else with this configuration, but it's handy for occasional visitors.

I'm pretty easy going with a good sense of humour, but require housemates to be clean and tidy, and to help keep the house that way too. I'm an IT trainer/supply teacher by day, and travel a lot and am away much of the time. I enjoy going to the pub occasionally, but also enjoy a night in, cooking a decent meal with a bottle of wine. I enjoy watching Rugby and F1, listening to music, the theatre, going to the gym and skiing. I have a pretty young outlook on life and generally get on well with most people.

The house has a small but adequate kitchen with washing machine, dishwasher, cooker and microwave, and a separate dining room. There is pretty fast (14 Meg) wireless broadband available throughout the house, which is close to Chobham Rugby Club; about 4 miles from The McLaren Technology Centre; and about 3. 5 miles from Woking Town Centre (about 10 minutes drive, or about 15 mins on the bus which stops just outside the door and terminates at Woking rail station); 15 mins drive to Camberley; 20 mins drive to Guildford; and about 10 mins walk to Chobham village High street.

Chobham is a small village that retains much of the village feel about it. You'll need a car or bike to get around easily as Woking is too far to walk for most people (about an hour on foot). There is an hourly bus service to Woking but it only runs during the daytime (7am to 7pm) Mon-Sat. There are two small supermarkets in the village, (Tesco Express and Co-Op) and several smaller convenience shops/off-licences. There are 4 good pubs and several restaurants catering for most tastes and budgets. The nearest large supermarkets are Sainsbury's in Brookwood (about 3. 5 miles), Morrisons in Woking (about 3. 5 miles), 24 hours Tesco in Addlestone (about 7 miles) and Waitrose in Sunningdale (about 5 miles). Rent is inclusive of Council Tax, broadband, tv licence etc, but not gas, electricity or water, which are shared equally between all occupants. Currently, this works out at about £30 monthly each on average.
