About us:

We are a young married couple who like being social but also having quiet evenings in the week as we both work full time (Physio / Planning Consultant).

We have a new house mate (30, professional, female) who has recently moved in. We have potential for one more room to be let.

We are generally quite busy all the time, but when we do have free time we like to go out places and socialise. We are friendly, young and easy going.

Our ideal lodgers / house mates would be clean, tidy, easy going and ones we could trust.

The village:

Chobham is a lovely character village with lots of community things going on (Chobham festival, bonfire and fireworks, christmas and other events). The street we live on is a nice street within a close walk of Chobham village.

Connections:

Woking is accessed by car in less than 10 minutes, bus in about 20 minutes. Woking has a fast train (c.23 minutes) to London Waterloo. Weybridge is 10 - 20 minutes drive (traffic depending) and Bracknell is 20 minutes drive. M25 is nearby (5 minutes to junction 11) and the M3 is close (c.10 minutes drive). Heathrow is 30 minutes drive and Gatwick around 40 minutes.

The house:

Our house is a large end-terrace with 4 / 5 bedrooms. Externally there is parking for 4 cars on the drive (we have 2, plus 1 with existing housemate), and more by using on-street parking. To the rear there is a good sized garden with lawn, a log cabin (used as an office / spare double room) and storage to side for bikes etc. There is also a large rear patio which we use for sitting and barbeques. The rear garden is south facing so gets lots of sun.

The room is a good size, will fit a divan or small double bed in. You would need your own furniture though we may be able to obtain some. There is a TV socket and multiple plug points. Room recently redecorated.

We have a large lounge with log burner, plenty of seating, a piano, dining table with 4 chairs, good sized communal kitchen (where you would have cupboard space) with washing machine, dishwasher, cooker etc.

Separate hallway with coat and shoe storage.

The style of our house is up to date vintage with a soft palette of colours.

All prices are inclusive of all bills (electric, gas, Council Tax, broadband, water) but exclusive of general household costs which would be shared and we can discuss separately.

We would expect any occupant to share in the cleaning of the shared house areas (though your room is your room).

Bathrooms are generous as per plan attached (shared). There is a dedicated bath / shower room, then two separate toilets (one on ground floor, one on second floor).

There is enormous storage at the property, the loft is enormous and completely boarded out with lighting as well. If you have a bike we have an external shed.
