Furnished double room available in large townhouse set over 3 floors. It is a really beautiful and spacious modern house in a lovely area and is well worth the money!

The house is in a lovely, quiet, residential road with little traffic and friendly neighbours. It is within walking distance of East Croydon station and is well served by buses and trams.

The house is fully furnished (including kitchenware) including the bedroom. A large wardrobe, bedside cabinet and single bed with mattress and duvet will be provided (but can be removed if not needed). It is a large room and could easily fit a double bed if needed, as well as other furniture.

It is an extremely large and spacious house with plenty of storage space and is more than worth the money. I can provide exact costs of most bills if asked but in general we budget around £115 each a month for ALL utilities as well as broadband, TV licence and council tax. In summer I would expect this to be a bit less.

Current housemates are myself (female, 24) and my brother (26). We are both professionals working full time. Ideally we are looking for someone who is quite laid back like us but sociable enough that we don't feel like strangers when we bump into each other in the kitchen! We’re fairly tidy and keep the place looking nice without being clean freaks. I am a reader, so there is a large collection of books which you are more than welcome to read! My brother tends to spend his time watching TV or playing computer games, which you are again more than welcome to join in with.

The landlady is quick and helpful in responding to any problems and is committed to maintaining the house.
