Half a flat available near Surbiton town centre

I’m a laid-back 35 year old motorsport engineer and from early October will have a double bedroom to rent in a two bedroom flat, half a mile from the centre of Surbiton and its railway station.
Rent is £575 plus £175 bills - £750 for everything.
I’m looking for someone equally laid back and easy to get along with, who is ok with my extremely chilled-out/lazy cat Digby and who’ll help out with the housework and keep the place clean, though not obsessively so.
I work long hours so am not always about that much on weekdays.
Weekends I spend just like everybody else - meeting up with friends, going down the pub, chilling on the sofa with Netflix or cooking a decent meal.
My current flatmate is moving out around the end of September so am looking for someone who can move in any time after that.
The flat is on the ground floor of a block in a small close. It has wooden floors in the living room and hall, a small balcony (if that's what you can call it when it's on the ground floor...) a dishwasher, central heating, double glazing and a garage in a nearby block. I have standard broadband which is good enough for Netflix. The room is furnished at the moment but if you’d prefer to bring in your own stuff instead, that’s not a problem.
There's plenty of space for parking on the streets nearby (although you'll need a permit which is £90 a year) and Waterloo is a 15-20 minute train ride away.
I'm not narrowing down the kind of person I want to live with too much at this point. If we get on, we get on. Having said that, sorry but no couples, kids, students or loons...
