Furnished Double Room in Victorian Terrace

Good sized newly decorated double room for rent in a three bed Victorian terrace house situated 5 minutes walk from Littlehampton station and town and 10 minutes walk from the marina. The room is furnished with a brand new double bed with memory foam mattress, a large antique wardrobe, a chest of drawers, a bedside table, black-out curtain and optional TV. Features of the room include an original fireplace, high ceiling and large window overlooking the garden. A large radiator with thermostat control is also in the room.

The ground floor of the house has a separate lounge and dining room, light and airy kitchen with larder and family bathroom at the back of the house. The first floor has three bedrooms and there is a large loft space. A small but pretty potted garden with a shed, seating and a table is to the rear with access to the walkway which runs behind the gardens. Please note we have two cats so no dogs please and would have to be someone who doesn't mind animals/ has no allergies to cats. No smoking permitted inside the house, don't mind in the garden/ outside.

We are a married couple in our early 30's and moved to Littlehampton in June 2014 from Worthing where we lived for 5 years. We both love living here as we are so near the marina and have so many pubs and really decent restaurants nearby. The short walk into town is ideal and it has lots of antique shops, coffee shops and cafes. There is a small Sainsbury's just round the corner, a large Tesco 5 minutes drive away and a Morrisons nearby too. There is a small cinema on the seafront and plenty of places to go for breakfast on the weekend. Being so near the station is perfect as we go into Brighton and Worthing a lot and Chichester is a short journey away - you can't hear the trains as the station is a dead end so any trains that come in or leave are going slowly. We have friendly neighbours all up the street and there is a community feel.

The ideal lodger would be a professional of similar age to us, doesn't mind cats and is easy going. Mon-Fri lodgers are welcome.
