We have two places available in our house in friendly Worthing.

You'd each get your own double room and share in the rest of the large house (kitchen, sitting room, dining room, two bathrooms). It's an Edwardian house, and not wheelchair-friendly, unfortunately, but there is central heating, double glazing, wi-fi and cabled internet, and a landline phone. We have two cats. We rent the house unfurnished, but we can leave/put some furniture in your room if it would help.

There's a sunny yard at back near the railway line with a small vegetable plot and shed; the yard is great for summer evening barbecues.

You would be joint tenants with us. The landlord will want to do a credit check and we are told is unlikely to accept people on benefits, alas. If we are three, rather than four, people here, which would be OK for us, you'd need to pay £316. 67 a month plus your share of the bills. If we end up being four, we'd all be paying £237. 50 each plus the bills. Note that a deposit (same as one month’s rent) will be needed, and that the letting agency will charge £180 for their checks.

We are 5-10 minutes walk from both Worthing and West Worthing stations; there are frequent trains to Brighton and two trains an hour to Victoria. There's also a great bike path most of the way to Brighton.
